The theme was spring/summer/flowers. I was excited to use some colour as I had been doing lots of weddings lately, which are more neutral colours.
I wanted the colours to clash, but still look good together and for it to be bright!
Emma wanted some shots to add to her flower girl collection for her art work. her inspiration comes from old images (Victorian she thinks) in history. Emma plans to create a book with her collection and get it published!
Kate had done a little modelling, but wanted some more photos for her portfolio so she was happy for me to let our creative juices flow.
In my studio I did the makeup and we used a bright wig to make the colours stand out even more. Emma had made a lovely head band that we used in most of the shots.
We went to Kimberly park, which we were lucky that the weather was perfect! The flowers were out in abundance so we had plenty of colours to choose from.
i am so pleased with the outcome and its great to play with colour 🙂
Check out the video Emma made of the shoot.
